Haymarket Belfast gives update on expansion date opening ahead of festive season
A busy Belfast bar and leisure complex has teased the opening of its new £3million expansion next month.
Work is getting underway at Haymarket on Royal Avenue in the heart of the city centre to transform a number of vacant units beside the bar into a "dynamic network of nightlife spots."
A spokesperson for The Vertigo Group, who own the complex, has said that they are on plan to open the new investment in mid-November ahead of the festive season.

In a statement to Belfast Live, they said: "We are super excited to announce the expansion of our Royal Avenue venue, Haymarket.
"With us recently opening 'The Armoury', Ireland’s only adult leisure experience that combines virtual shooting with hand crafted cocktails and small plates, our aim is to bring something new and exciting to Belfast's hospitality sector.
"Since opening The Armoury, we've seen how popular competitive leisure has become and the feedback from our customers has been amazing, which makes us even more excited to announce our new spaces."
They continued: "With this next innovative addition to our ambitious £3million investment in The Haymarket complex we hope to bring something even more exciting to the ever-growing hospitality and entertainment sector of Belfast.
"Due to open in mid-November all will be revealed just in time for Christmas get togethers to remember, from date nights to corporate events we will have you covered!"
