Heartbreak as 'dear mummy' dies at just 37 years old

A family in Cornwall is in mourning after a "dear mummy" passed away at just 37 years old. Jenna Pilsbury's funeral was announced in this week's death and funeral notices.

The announcement stated that she died at home, surrounded by her loving family. Jenna, from Camborne but originally of St Erth, is described as a "much-loved wife to Richard and a dear mummy to Zachary and Poppy". The announcement said she would be "sadly missed by all family and friends".

The funeral announcement reads: "On Monday, November 4, 2024, passed away at home, with her family by her side. Jenna aged 37 years of Camborne, formerly of St Erth.

"A much-loved wife to Richard and a dear mummy to Zachary and Poppy. Sadly missed by all family and friends."

Jenna's funeral was held at St Erth Parish Church on Wednesday (November 20) at 12:30pm, followed by cremation.

On November 9, Hayle Rugby Club posted a tribute on Facebook. It said: "Lest we forget. Today, the boys and spectators of Hayle RFC stood together in solidarity for two minutes, honouring those who served and sacrificed, also in memory of Jenna Pilsbury, a close family member of one of our well-respected players. Proud to pay our respects and remember."
