Heaven nightclub London - why it's closed, when it may reopen and full list of cancelled events
Heaven will not be able to open its doors for 28 days, Westminster Council has ruled. This comes after a woman was allegedly raped by a bouncer, Met Police have reported. It was also claimed that other security staff did not call police when she tried to report the alleged incident.
Morenikeji Adewole of Dunlop Close, Dartford, was charged with rape earlier this week (Wednesday, November 13). The man, who is also known as Olu Julius or Olusolu Alabi, appeared at Westminster’ Magistrates Court on Thursday, November 14.

The 47-year-old has since been remanded in custody and will appear at Southwark Crown Court on Wednesday, December 11.
Following the incident, which reportedly took place on November 1, Westminster Council found that the licence for the nightclub should be suspended, until a full hearing can take place. This means it cannot open for the time being.
The decision took effect yesterday (Friday, November 16) and will remain in force until Thursday, December 12. So far, only tomorrow's event - now taking place at Fabric - has been officially cancelled by Heaven. Heaven said in a statement on its Instagram that it is considering appealing the decision. Although no further information has been given about them, here are all the events that are unlikely to go ahead or that will be moved:
