Heavy Damage Seen in Mississippi Following Tornado

A tornado touched down in Wayne County, Mississippi on March 17, as a spate of storms wracked areas in the southern US on Wednesday.

At 12:20 pm, the National Weather Service’s Mobile office reported that a tornado was moving through Wayne County. The NWS confirmed damage “to homes.”

According to journalist Vanessa Pacheco of WDAM, this footage was taken near Strengthford Cooley Road in Wayne County. Local reports indicated the site was a farm that raised chickens. The location was heavily damaged in storms on March 17.
