Greater Anglia gave this update: "A train hit a person on the line earlier today. The incident occurred between Tottenham Hale and Broxbourne and is disrupting our West Anglia services in both directions. All lines have now re-opened following an earlier line closure. However, there are still residual delays and some amendments affecting our services whilst we try to get trains running to their advertised times again.
"Trains running through the area in both directions can now run normally. However, delays of up to 30 minutes may affect some services whilst we work to get trains running to their advertised times again.
"At present the line has re-opened. Our priority is now to get trains running to their advertised times again. Please allow extra time for your journey."
