Heavy Rain Hits North Stamford as Tropical Depression Henri Arrives in Connecticut

Tropical Depression Henri brought heavy rain to North Stamford, Connecticut, as it rotated along the northeast coast on Monday, August 23.

This footage filmed by Twitter user @DavidMRohde shows rainfall filling a gutter on Monday afternoon, when the “center of the remnants of Henri” had moved back across Connecticut, according to the National Weather Service.

By Monday evening, Henri’s status had changed to a post-tropical cyclone, according to the National Hurricane Center, and was expected to bring heavy rain and flooding to parts of southern New England through Monday night. Credit: @DavidMRohde via Storyful
