Heavy Rain Increases Pressure on Utah Dam

The Quail Creek Diversion Dam in Virgin, in southern Utah, was under increased pressure due to heavy monsoon rain on August 18.

The Washington County Water Conservancy District released footage showing the high level of water passing through the dam. They noted that the water could not be stored.
