Heavy Snowfall Hits British Columbia

Up to 8 inches (20 cm) of snow fell in parts of British Columbia on Monday, November 7, Environment Canada, the country’s national weather service, said.

DriveBC warned of “limited visibility with heavy snowfall” on Highway 5 between Merritt and West Kamloops.

Video posted by James Grant in the early hours of Monday, which he said was filmed in Kamloops, shows wind gusts blowing powdery snow.
