Helen Skelton, known for her stint on Strictly Come Dancing and as a presenter on Springtime on the Farm, has offered fans a glimpse into her new abode.

The 40 year old broadcaster recently shared that she had moved from the home she shared with her ex-husband, England and Leeds Rhino rugby player Richie Myler, following their divorce. The couple's former £1.1M residence was situated within a prestigious gated community.

Post-divorce, Helen returned to her roots in Cumbria, staying with her parents while she regained her bearings.

Today, the mother of three Ernie, eight, Louis, five, and Elsie, who is 16 months old, whom she co-parents with Richie expressed gratitude for her father's assistance during the move into her new place. In a touching Instagram post, Helen praised her dad, saying: "The kind of granddad who spends days moving the entire contents of your life and still makes time for motorbikes and football," accompanied by a red heart emoji.

In a light-hearted social media update, she also conveyed the challenges of relocating with children. She recounted an amusing conversation with her son about his boxing gloves: "Tell me you're moving... without telling me you're moving.... 'Me: which pair are going to charity shop? Him: neither we NEED them both,'" as reported by the Express, reports the Mirror.

Having spent some time at her parents' home in Cumbria after parting ways with Richie, Helen is now embarking on a fresh start, setting up her independent household with her children. Additionally, this week Helen announced an upcoming television project alongside her best friend and fellow Strictly alum, Dan Walker.

Yorkshire and Cumbria explorers Dan and Helen have good news for their fans. After a successful series for Channel 5 last year, where the pair took us on a journey between Yorkshire and Cumbria, they're now prepping for yet another travel series.

The couple announced on Instagram: "Some lovely news... we are about to start filming a new travel series for @channel5_tv."

They also hinted more exciting announcements to come, saying "Watch this space for more details. We'll let you know when you can watch us wandering around together as soon as we can (champagne optional)."

Their eager fans were not slow in sharing their thoughts, covering the post with compliments and support. One follower eagerly said, "Oooh fab. Loved your last series together," and another promised, "Oh yes that's made mine and my husbands evening! Our fav people walking round our fav place, can't wait! " Another fan couldn't contain her thrill saying, "Yes yes Dan and Helen this is the best news ever I really really enjoyed the first series @mrdanwalker and @helenskelton. And I cannot wait to see what you both get up to. Sending lots of love to you both."

In their pioneering series, the couple embarked on many adventures across the expansive Pennine landscape, which involved activities like cycling along Snake Pass, canoeing across Standedge, wilderness camping near Keighley sans tents, taking in the view at Ilkley Moor, and even experimenting with hydrospeeding, according to a report by Metro.
