Weeks after former fashion editor Alexandra Shulman called her “slightly tragic” for wearing a sexy black bustier top at age 50 — an age-shaming critique that sparked outrage — supermodel Helena Christensen looks to be living her best life on the beach.
Giving bikini aficionado Elizabeth Hurley a run for her money, the Danish beauty shared a photo of her modeling a strappy purple one-piece swimsuit from her Stærk & Christensen fashion range. The sexy summery look now has fans drawing comparisons to her starring role in the steamy, black-and-white music video for Chris Isaak’s ‘Wicked Game” — which came out 28 years ago.
“‘Wicked Games’ by Chris [Isaak] redo,” a fan wrote of Christensen’s sultry beach look, which featured an exposed back and plunging neckline. The comment was one of many citing the iconic 1991 video, which featured the supermodel romping on the beach with Isaak.
“And my gym will be enjoying my presence tomorrow for 2+ hours,” read another comment.
“My booty hasn’t looked like that since my 20s and even then it didn’t look LIKE THAT!!” another impressed follower wrote.

Christensen isn’t the first over-50 star to rock the “timeless” look. The model and photographer recently captured 53-year-old pal Brooke Shields sporting a similar swimsuit.
