Helicopter Flies in to Rescue People in Tigris River Following Fatal Ferry Disaster

At least 71 people were killed when a ferry capsized in the Tigris river near an amusement park in Mosul, Iraq, on March 21, according to local media citing health officials.

Local civil defense forces and the Iraqi interior ministry in Nineveh province said that they were participating in rescue efforts.
