Helicopter Plucks Injured Firefighter From Fiery California Terrain

Ventura County Aviation Unit staged a daring rescue near Carpinteria, California, on Tuesday, December 12, as they hoisted a firefighter injured battling the Thomas Fire to safety.

This footage shows the firefighter being safely hoisted into the helicopter, where he was later taken to a hospital for treatment.
