Helicopter Rescues Stranded Resident Amid Deadly Flooding in Japan

A military helicopter rescued stranded residents on July 4 amid major flooding in southern Japan. Kyodo News said at least 44 people were dead and more than 250,000 had evacuated.

NHK said that some parts of Japan were experiencing levels of rainfall not seen in several decades.
