Authorities performed more than 220 flood rescues in a 24 hour period across New South Wales, according to media, as flooding continued to affect the state’s Central West region on November 15.
This footage filmed by NSW Ambulance shows locals in the township of Eugowra being winched to safety by a number of helicopters on Tuesday.
Residents in the town of Forbes, New South Wales, were forced to evacuate by 7 am on Tuesday morning, as river levels rose faster than predicted.
