'It helped me' - Noussair Mazraoui reveals hidden talent that could save Manchester United millions
Manchester United defender Noussair Mazraoui has revealed he has experience of playing in 'every position' on the pitch.
Sources discussed Mazraoui's versatility when he arrived for €15million (£12.8m) with a possible €5m (£4.2m) in add-ons this summer but he's started each game at right-back.
Diogo Dalot, who is most comfortable on the right side of the defence, has played as a left-back in the opening few games and his displays have been below his usual standard.
Erik ten Hag might swap Mazraoui and Dalot against Crystal Palace this weekend and the 26-year-old should have no problem starting at left-back considering he recently discussed his versatility, explaining in an interview that he has played in every position on the pitch during his career.

Mazraoui told club media: "Yeah, I was a midfielder and then, for the second team, I played one season in every position. From left-winger to central defender in the next game.
"So I’ve played everywhere and that is what really helped me now because wherever I come onto the pitch, I feel comfortable. I don’t feel like ‘what do I have to do over here?’ I just know what to do with it. I’ve played already in every position so that really helped me a lot.
"The moment I got my first professional contract, I felt from that moment on that my career was starting and I just wanted more, it was kind of my first success in my career.
"Every step I've made, which was a move to this big club, or the move to Bayern Munich as well, these are moments which show why you work so hard every day, why you do the extra work.
"I knew eventually one day I wanted to play in the Premier League and that I'm able to play for this big club is only a dream I could never dream of, so it wasn't something I had in my mind.
"Every step for me was already a step of success, a step of being proud, so I knew I made another step in my career and Manchester United is now a big step in that way."
Mazraoui discussed his strong start to life in Manchester and although his performances have impressed supporters, he promised the best is yet to come from him as he settles.
"It could have gone worse," he said. "It's really tough to come to a new club with all the responsibilities that comes with it, just training two times with new players, not really knowing how to play with them and then playing my debut how I played, I was really proud of myself.
"But Erik has said it already, you can expect more from me because this is just the beginning. I think when I really start to feel comfortable and settle in, I will be even better."
