We were a bit worried when BBC Three went online only but, almost a year to the day since the switch happened, we're happy to say it's doing fine.

More than fine in fact - we've had the amazing Fleabag, the Doctor Who spin-off Class, and now another darkly comic sitcom is on its way.

Can't Cope, Won't Cope follows two girls - Aisling (Seána Kerslake, the breakout star of A Date for Mad Mary) and Danielle (Nika McGuigan, Bridie in Philomena) - who are out of education but still continuing their life of partying and drunken antics.

But real life is looming, and Danielle is secretly getting sick of their lifestyle - basically, it's what we all go through after university when we still go out on student nights and start feeling old.

This six-part Irish millennial comedy series is being made by Deadpan Pictures, the people behind Moone Boy, and is written and created by playwright Stefanie Preissner.

"The opportunity to bring the voice and experience of young Irish women to a larger audience is fantastic," Preissner said.

"The team on Can't Cope did an amazing job capturing that voice and I hope that the BBC Three audience love it."

Can't Cope, Won't Cope will be a six-part series, and will be available online at some point later in the year.
