If you've ever wondered why Katie Price never seems to stay single for long, you might be interested to know her ultimate relationship tip: you don't just need the one man, you need a reserve too.

Discussing the topic, 'Is there any point in prolonging a split' on Loose Women today, Katie explained that she likes to keep someone "on the backburner" so that she can move on immediately.

"I normally know when a relationship is going to end, because you get that eggshell-y feeling, where you go home and you think, 'Oh, am I going to say something wrong?' I hate that," she explained.

"But most of the time, I've usually got someone on the backburner so then I'm not on my own."

Currently married to Kieran Hayler, mum-of-five Katie went on to suggest that she simply can't stand *not* having a man in her life, saying: "If I have split from someone and then I haven't got someone lined up, I'm like, 'Oh, I've got to find someone'."

Katie's previously been married to Peter Andre and Alex Reid, while her other high-profile partners have included Dane Bowers and Dwight Yorke.

Her marriage to Hayler has famously been through rough patches caused by his infidelity – a few months back, she admitted that she "had to pay a therapist for Kieran not to do [threesomes]", but she's also said that staying with him is "the best thing [she] ever did".

She also responded angrily last year to speculation that she had cheated on her husband with Geordie Shore star Scotty T, denying the claims and writing on Instagram: "I love my husband so why would people try to start shit.

"Just cause I know male people doesn't mean to say f**king anything's going on, so get over it."

It's been said before and it'll definitely be said again – never underestimate the Pricey.
