'Heroic Rescue': Firefighter Helps Man And His Dog as Airport Fire Spreads
A firefighter helped a man and his dog escape from El Cariso, California, as the Airport fire closed in, video from September 12 shows.
Cal Fire/Riverside County Fire Department shared this video on Thursday of a firefighter spotting the man and his dog walking around El Cariso.
“Another day, another heroic rescue. Division Chief Crater stepped up to help a man and his dog…guiding them to safety as a rapidly advancing fire front from the Airport Fire closed in,” they captioned the video.
“Hey, can I get you out of here?” the firefighter asks the man.
“Bring the dog. Let’s go man I want you out of here,” he says.
Both the man and his dog were safely evacuated and unharmed, Cal Fire/Riverside County Fire Department said.
