To celebrate 10 years of Heston Blumenthal’s partnership with Waitrose and 25 years since his world renowned restaurant The Fat Duck opened, Heston has created the Lazy Espresso Martini, made with coffee taken from The Fat Duck kitchen.

Described by the supermarket as; "Smooth, rich and velvety, with deep coffee notes and a kick of vodka." Heston’s Lazy Espresso Martini needs only to be shaken with ice and poured into your glass ready to drink.

Heston said in the press release: "Putting the art into Martini - my version of this classic cocktail uses cold-brewed coffee for a flavour with real finesse."

To make the bottled cocktail, The Fat Duck coffee is cold brewed and extracted over 24 hours, before being blended with vodka and sweetened for depth and texture.

Waitrose Brand Manager, Olivia Basten, said in the press release: “Time flies when you're having fun, and working in the wonderful world of Heston is certainly that. In this tenth year of Heston at Waitrose, we are thrilled that Heston is using ingredients from his world famous The Fat Duck kitchen. The Espresso Martini is a smooth delicious cocktail and a truly fitting way to mark the occasion.”

Enjoy as a post-dinner digestif, an after work reward or a weekend treat; ready in seconds.

The Lazy Espresso Martini costs £25 for 70cl
