'Hidden gem' coffee shop to reopen on Brentwood High Street
A popular independently-run Brentwood coffee shop is relocating from its current spot in Ongar Road to a more central position on Brentwood High Street. Woodland coffee shop is a popular cafe in the town, with customers praising its customer service and "amazing" coffee.
Woodland has now revealed that it will be moving from Ongar Road to the location of the Nest Creperie, which is its sister location. The Nest Creperie is located just outside of the Baytree Centre, in the middle of Brentwood High Street.
It has not been said if Nest is also moving, or if the two cafes are merging into one eatery. However, loyal customers to Woodland can expect to find the cafe in its new location from September 24.

It is expected that the move will only encourage more visitors to the cafe, as it is loved by Brentwood residents for a variety of reasons. One reviewer said: "Absolutely fantastic hidden little gem.
"Their coffee is far beyond the average cafe and the food is exquisite. The main selling point for me was the staff, they were kind, helpful and constantly vigilant should anybody need anything."
Another gushed: "Woodland Coffee Shop is not just my favourite place to buy coffee, it’s also my favourite place in all of Brentwood. Their lattes, whether hot or iced, are consistently perfect.
"The vast selection of pastries and cakes are unrivalled, and every single cake I’ve tried has been divine — I can never resist their heavenly red velvet cake."
The sign on the door at Woodland Cafe currently reads: "We are moving! We hope you can come visit soon - thank you for the support!"
