SOUTHAMPTON residents have been urged to plan their journeys as a number of cruise ships depart from the city today.
High volumes of cruise passengers are expected in the city today as a number of ships depart.
Queen Mary 2 and Anthem of the Seas are departing at 5pm, and Britannia is leaving at 6pm.

Residents have been asked to plan their journeys to the waterfront in advance.
A spokesperson from Southampton Travel said: "High volumes of cruise passengers are expected in the city today with several cruise ships arriving/departing.
"Please continue to plan any journeys to the waterfront in advance as it will be busy."
