‘High Potential’ Release Schedule: When Do New Episodes Air?

Forget the gang, “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia” star Kaitlin Olson is taking center stage as a brainiac single mother helping the cops solve crimes in ABC’s new comedic procedural “High Potential.”

Written by “The Martian” and “Daredevil” screenwriter Drew Goddard and inspired by French series “HIP: High Intellectual Potential,” the series also stars Judy Reyes (“Scrubs”) and Daniel Sunjata (“Graceland”) as the officers collaborating with Olson to help crack their hardest cases.

In the tradition of series like “The Mentalist” and “Castle,” the hour-long series promises a comedic slant on the crime procedural, centered on an exceptional and individual mind. For everything you need to know about when and where to watch “High Potential,” read on.

When Does “High Potential” Premiere?

“High Potential” debuted with a single-episode premiere Tuesday, Sept. 17, at 10:00-11:00 p.m. ET on ABC.

The premiere also had two rebroadcasts. Wednesday, Sept. 18, at 10:00 p.m. ET and again on Sunday, Sept. 22, at 8:00 p.m. ET.

What Time Do New “High Potential” Episodes Air?

New episodes will premiere on Tuesdays at 10:00-11:00 p.m. ET.

    • “Morgan’s intellect and cleaning experience prove useful when the detectives are called to a hotel room murder scene, eventually uncovering the victim’s many cons. Morgan navigates Ava’s dating while Soto reveals details about Roman’s disappearance.”

    • “Morgan is excited to get her official LAPD badge despite Karadec’s reluctance. The detectives work tirelessly on an emotional missing children case, which hits close to home for Morgan and sends her mind into overdrive.”

  • S.1 Ep.5: “Croaked” — Oct. 22

    • “The team investigates the death of an exotic animal veterinarian, uncovering a complicated love triangle in the process. Work interferes with Karadec’s dating life, while Morgan follows a parental hunch about her teenage daughter and snoops on Ava.”

  • S.1 Ep.6: “Hangover” — Oct. 29

    • “A wild office party at a high-profile medical technology startup leads to the shocking murder of the founder and CEO, and Morgan and the team are on the case. Meanwhile, a new co-worker at the precinct catches Morgan’s eye.”

  • S.1 Ep. 7: “One of Us” – Nov. 12

    • “Morgan agrees to show Ava around the LAPD, but things quickly take a dangerous turn when the precinct is held hostage by the friends of a recently convicted man. Can Morgan and the detectives outsmart their captors and lead everyone to safety?”

Where Is “High Potential” Streaming?

New episodes of “High Potential” will be available to watch live on ABC.

Episodes will be available on demand and streaming on Hulu the next day.

Has “High Potential” Been Renewed for Season 2?

Not yet! The series is brand new to ABC in the fall season and hasn’t been renewed for any additional pickups at this point. We’ll update this space when that changes.

However, it’s been a huge Freshman hit for ABC and the network just announced it will return midseason with new episodes on Jan. 7.
