High Winds Knock Out Power to Thousands in Rochester Area

Thousands of people were without power in multiple counties as high winds battered Rochester, New York, and the surrounding area on Friday, March 20, according to reports.

Local reports said customers in Monroe, Genesee, and Orleans counties were without power on Friday due to damage from wind gusts up to 61 mph.
