Highway Near Sacramento Shrouded in Fog

A highway between Placerville and Pollock Pines, California – in the Sacramento area – was shrouded in fog early on Thursday, April 9.

Visibility was under a quarter-mile in Placerville, and roads were damp early Thursday morning, according to local weather reports.

Satellite imagery from the National Weather Service showed the weather system, which had been moving through California throughout the week, with thick low-level cloud cover.
