Historic first for new Jack and the Beanstalk pantomime at Bedworth Civic Hall
An historic first will take place at the Civic Hall in Bedworth when the curtain rises on a new pantomime. PR Productions is bringing its take on Jack and the Beanstalk to the stage this festive season.
With this comes the first ever relaxed pantomime performance at the venue. This relaxed performance will be held on Thursday, December .19.
This will see usual auditorium and theatre 'rules' relaxed especially for people with learning disabilities or autism, or anyone who would benefit from a more relaxed environment. There will also be an area where patrons can go to if they need quiet time during the show.

In this area there will be a TV so that they can continue to watch the show away from the auditorium. Prior to the show starting, the auditorium will open early for a meet and greet with the cast.
"The actors will be in costume and is a chance to see them before the show begins and familiarise yourself with the characters," said a PR Productions spokesperson. "People will be able to see the set and some of the scenery and get an idea of how everything will look before the show begins."
Also, when the show starts at 7pm, all of the lights off in the auditorium will not be turned off, instead they will be dimmed. Also, to help panto-goers, from from the beginning of December there will be a ‘visual story’ available on the company's website which gives more information about the show.
Tickets for the relaxed performance as well as the rest of the show's run, from December 13 to December 24, are priced from £12 and can be booked from the website here
