The star announced her pregnancy back in February, revealing that she was 40 weeks along at the time and was ready for her baby to come at any time.
Now her bundle of joy has arrived, as she revealed to her fans via an Instagram Story.
The actress shared a close up photo of her baby resting on her chest, writing: "It's the little chunky arm for me" with loads of hearts-in-eyes emojis. She also wrote "#sleepdeprivedheaven" and "Love of my life."
At the time of writing, Owusu – who appeared as Denise Fox's daughter Libby in EastEnders from 2006 until 2010 – has not publicly revealed any further details about her child, including the name she chose.
Owusu's Holby character, Nicky McKendrick, made her last on-screen appearance at the end of March.
Her TV alter-ego is also pregnant, and following the outcome of the Cameron storyline, made the tough decision to leave the hospital after emotionally telling Louis that he should have fought harder for her.
When the episode aired, the star wrote on Twitter: "I had the best time playing Nicky, but now I'm off being a mummy (yep- the bump was real). Bye for now x."
Hopefully that means she'll be back on the drama one day, but until then, we're guessing she's going to be pretty busy for a while.
Holby City currently airs Tuesday nights on BBC One.
