Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield have a reputation of being the loveliest double act on TV (soz Ant and Dec) – but are they really?

Every now and again, the pair's cheeky and ever-so-slightly confrontational side slips out, yet somehow, these moments always manage to fly under the radar.

But not entirely. So here, we've compiled a list of the Holly and Phil's snarkiest moments to date...

1. Holly vs Katie Price

We're not exactly sure how this long-running feud started, but these two don't appear to be each other's biggest fans. After Katie poked fun at Holly's weight loss, the This Morning presenter retaliated a few days later by targeting her singing. "Thank you, Katie... beautiful tones there... lovely," she sarcastically quipped following a live performance by The Pricey. Watch this space for round three!

2. Phil vs Stephanie Davis and Jeremy McConnell

Even if you didn't watch them meet and fall in love on Celebrity Big Brother, you've probably heard all about Stephanie and Jeremy's on-off relationship. Mostly because every detail has leaked to the tabloids and splattered across social media – and that didn't escape the notice of Phil, who ripped into the pair for airing their dirty laundry so publicly. By what we guessing was the 122nd time they'd broken-up, Phil reached boiling point as the news was reported on This Morning and shouted "I couldn't care less!"

3. Holly vs Jodie Marsh

Jodie was mortified after realising she'd done a live interview on This Morning with bright bold plum smeared across her brilliantly white teeth. So who did she blame? Holly of course. The glamour model accused the presenter of breaching girl code by not giving her a heads up before the cameras started rolling. Holly hit back by posting video footage of her telling Jodie about her makeup mishap with the simple caption, "Awkward".

4. Phil vs Mariah Carey

This snarky moment actually came from nowhere. While Rylan Clark-Neal was presenting the This Morning showbiz segment, talking about Rihanna arriving late for her own concert, he noted that she then cried on stage but doubted it was from shame at her own tardiness. Then, for no reason whatsoever, Phil decided to take a pop at Mariah Carey: "Otherwise, Mariah Carey would be so dehydrated!" Meow.

5. Holly vs Katie Hopkins

To be fair, Holly was just saying what everyone else was thinking, but it was a snarky moment nonetheless. While Katie was on This Morning boasting about judging children by their names, Holly was seen pulling a series of strange facial expressions and dismissing her opinions by laughing at her. After ten minutes of listening to Katie ranting, Holly finally snapped and told the provocative personality to "Just stop!" Katie's face afterwards was priceless.

6. Phil vs Kim Woodburn

In case you're wondering, Phil is not a fan of CBB legend Kim, as his live interview with her on This Morning made crystal clear. As she defended her behaviour in the Celebrity Big Brother house, Kim asked the presenter to talk to any crew she's ever worked with and they would be able to verify that she is a nice person.

However, he used that opportunity to land her in it. "Well, I know about the row that you had on Celebrity Juice," he said, infuriating Kim. What row? This one.

7. Holly vs Phil

Despite being real life BFFs, Holly and Phil do occasionally throw the odd dig at each other.

Like the time when he was proudly admiring his own well-defined cheekbones. As he sucked in his cheeks to show viewers just how great they are, Holly was not impressed and brought Phil back down to Earth by telling him he looked like EastEnders' Pat Butcher.

Phil was lost for words afterwards but when he was finally able to pick his jaw up off the floor, he told Holly she could present the rest of the show by herself before leaving the studio. But it was obviously a joke of course – we think...
