Holly Willoughby and Declan Donnelly were all smiles as they kicked off filming for I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here.

The duo soaked up the sun as they shot their first scenes on a boat ahead of welcoming 10 unsuspecting VIPs to the Australian jungle on Sunday night.

Willoughby, who has admitted to being scared of everything, looked calm as she sat beside Donnelly as they waved to this year’s camp mates on a neighbouring yacht.

Rita Simons and Sair Khan looked glamorous as they posed for photographers alongside Vamps singer James McVey.

John Barrowman, who wants to be the first gender fluid king or queen of the jungle, looked ready to throw himself in to the experience as he beamed onboard his boat.

Other stars heading in include Anne Heggerty, Harry Redknapp and Nick Knowles, while Noel Edmonds is rumoured to be a surprise guest.

The pictures come hours after ITV teased the first look at Willoughby and Donnelly together on set.

The This Morning presenter is temporarily replacing Ant McPartlin after he stepped down from his TV commitments following a stint in rehab earlier this year.

Willoughby, 37, proved she’s ready for jungle life, sporting a faux snake skin skirt and a t-shirt emblazoned with an outline of the reptile for the first official trailer.

The show’s resident medic Bob this week revealed she is the “most scared” he has ever seen anyone on the series.

“Holly’s more scared than all the celebrities put together,” he told The Sun. “I’m not joking. All I have to do is talk to her and look at the floor and she goes, ‘What’s on the floor? What are you looking at the floor for?’

“When they do the trials, I think they need a camera just on Holly because she’ll be squirming.”

I’m A Celebrity is on ITV, Sunday at 9pm
