Holly Willoughby fans say same thing as she makes TV comeback after This Morning exit
Holly Willoughby's much-awaited telly comeback got everyone talking.
The esteemed former This Morning co-host, aged 43, has been sparingly seen on television since her departure from the ITV morning programme in October 2023 following a remarkable 14-year stint. Holly had expressed at the time that it had been an "honour to just be part of its story," and that the difficult decision was made with her family's best interests at heart.
Subsequently, it came to light that Holly had been targeted in a harrowing scheme intended to kidnap and take her life. Earlier in the year, she joined forces again with Stephen Mulhern to present Dancing on Ice.
Since then, Holly has maintained a relatively low profile, until this Wednesday (September 11), when she made a triumphant return to our screens during the National Television Awards.

The celebrated 29th edition was once more hosted at London's O2 Arena, which marked the venue's fourteenth hosting of the event. Joel Dommett graced the stage for his fourth consecutive year as host, alongside standout performances, notably from chart-topping sensation Olly Murs, reports the Express.
Amongst the star-studded attendees was none other than Holly herself, dazzling in a shimmering figure-hugging gown. On the night, Holly took to the stage to present The Bruce Forsyth Entertainment Award, which was snagged by the enduringly popular I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!
As expected, Hollys re-emergence on the television screen was received with open arms by fans. Eager viewers took to X, once known as Twitter, to express their delight, with one fan writing: "I miss Holly."
Fans have been expressing their delight at Holly Willoughby's return, with one person commenting: "Holly looks amazing, so happy to see her back."
Another viewer was touched by the warm reception she received, saying: "There is something really heart warming knowing Holly Willoughby got huge cheers from the audience after everything."
This excitement comes as Holly confirms a new collaboration with Stephen Mulhern. They will be hosting two primetime specials of the legendary challenge show 'You Bet! which are set to broadcast later in the year.
The format involves members of the public showcasing their unique skills to complete seemingly impossible challenges for a chance to win a substantial cash prize.
A celebrity panel alongside the studio audience will guess whether the participants can succeed in their tasks. The celebrities can score points by making accurate predictions, aided by the audience's insights.
At the finale, the audience gets to vote for their favourite contestant, who will walk away with £10,000. Meanwhile, the celebrity with the most points wins the same amount for a charity of their choice, and the one with the least points faces a humorous final forfeit.
Don't miss the National Television Awards, airing live from 8pm on ITV and also available on ITVX.
