Holly Willoughby has made a fresh return to social media as she was seen letting her hair down over the weeked at a gig starring Liam Gallagher's son.

The former This Morning star shared a snap with All Saints singer Nicole Appleton as they supported her and Liam's son Gene Gallagher at his recent gig.

She first shared a picture of Gene in action with his indie rock band Villanelle. The band's other members are Ben Taylor on guitar, Jack Schiavo on bass, and Andrew Richmond on drums.

Another picture on the 43-year-old's Instagram Story showed Holly smiling and holding a drink alongside Nicole and their other friends, including Shiarra Bell, who works for Universal Music & Globe.

She also shared a picture of herself and Nicole sporting trendy leather jackets with emrboided details at the back and said: "One very proud Mumma... @nicoleappleton," before tagging Villanelle's Instagram account.

Holly's post comes after she hadn't posted anything on social media since her ex-friend and co-star Phillip Schofield appeared on Channel 5’s Cast Away to tell his ‘side of the story’.

It also comes after it was revealed that Phillip had dramatically blasted Holly via WhatsApp the day before news of his This Morning axe became public last year, according to reports. He apparently blamed her for not publicly backing him amid reports they had fallen out in the aftermath of his brother's court case, in May 2023.

As it is already known, Phillip left the ITV daytime show after admitting to an 'unwise but not illegal' affair with a younger colleague. Holly continued presenting the programme after his exit, but just months, in October 2023, she decided to step down from the role after 14 years.

Oldham-born Phillip was left raging at former friend and co-star after she didn't support him amid his ITV scandal, telling her: "You brought me down."
