Holly Willoughby makes surprise and glamorous TV return as fans say same thing
Holly Willoughby has made a much-anticipated return to television, and fans are all echoing a similar sentiment.
The beloved former presenter of This Morning, aged 43, has been largely absent from our screens since her departure from the ITV programme in October 2023, after a 14-year stint. At the time, Holly expressed that it was an "honour to just be part of its story," but emphasised that stepping down was a necessary decision for her personal life and family.
Subsequently, it came to light that Holly had been the target of a harrowing scheme to abduct and take her life. Earlier in the year, she joined forces once again with Stephen Mulhern to co-host Dancing on Ice.
Following this appearance, Holly has maintained a relatively low profile. However, on Wednesday (September 11), the nation's cherished television star graced our screens once more during the National Television Awards.

The 29th iteration of the prestigious awards ceremony took place at the O2 Arena in London, marking its fourteenth occasion at this iconic venue. Joel Dommett was back as host for his fourth consecutive year, with the event featuring performances from celebrated music artist Olly Murs, among others, reports the Express.
Amongst the glitterati present was none other than Holly herself, dazzling attendees in a shimmering, form-fitting gown. Holly took to the stage to present The Bruce Forsyth Entertainment Award, which was awarded to I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!
As anticipated, fans were thrilled to see Holly back on their televisions. Flocking to X, previously known as Twitter, one fan shared: "I miss Holly." Another person commented: "Holly looks amazing, so happy to see her back."
A third person was effusive in their praise, saying: "There is something really heart warming knowing Holly Willoughby got huge cheers from the audience after everything."
This news follows the announcement that Holly Willoughby will be joining forces with Stephen Mulhern to present two primetime specials of the legendary challenge show You Bet!, which are scheduled to broadcast later this year.
The format involves members of the public showcasing their extraordinary skills to complete seemingly impossible challenges, all in the hopes of winning a substantial cash prize.
A celebrity panel alongside the studio audience will be tasked with predicting whether the participants can successfully accomplish the tasks set before them. The celebrities can gain points for each accurate prediction, aided by insights from the audience members.
At the conclusion of the programme, the studio audience gets to vote for their favourite contestant, who will walk away with a handsome sum of £10,000. Meanwhile, the celebrity with the most points will earn £10k for a charity of their choice, and the one with the least points will face an amusing final forfeit.
The National Television Awards will be broadcast live from 8pm on ITV and can also be streamed on ITVX.
