Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield in shock over Kim Jong-un lookalike's X-rated slip-up

Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield were left stunned as a Kim Jong-un lookalike told an X-rated career anecdote.

The This Morning presenters welcomed Howard X onto the sofa on Thursday, an Australian impersonator who makes “the majority of his income” from looking like the North Korean leader.

And his interview soon derailed as the blushing presenters were forced to apologise for his naughty story from the Winter Olympics earlier this year.

He said: “The Winter Olympics were being held in South Korea, and for the first time South and North Korea participated as one team, and North Korea sent out the most beautiful cheerleaders I've ever seen to do their propaganda for them.

"So I thought, being Valentine's Day, I thought, you know, being the god of North Korea, I thought I could actually, you know, maybe get a s***.”

Aghast, Schofield jumped in and joked: “Oh, sorry about that. It may be acceptable in Australia but not here. Romantic you are….”

Undeterred, their guest continued: “Well it's Valentine's Day so I thought... anyway the cheerleaders loved it, they laughed, but you know their minders didn't take so kindly to me.

"North Korean agents pulled me aside and started physically assaulting me. I wasn't quite beaten up.

"They couldn't throw punches because they knew the cameras were watching, so they kicked me in the leg, which is OK. I can take a few punches and kicks but it was well worth it because afterwards...”

Schofield quickly cut his guest off by saying the moment “went viral” before Howard had a chance to add any more detail to the story.

This Morning airs weekdays from 10.30am on ITV.
