Holly Willoughby says she 'couldn't be more excited' for Strictly Christmas special
Holly Willoughby has told her Instagram followers she 'couldn't be more excited' for the Strictly Come Dancing Christmas special. The festive edition of the popular BBC show will see six famous faces compete to lift the sought-after Glitterball trophy.
But while the former This Morning host was looking forward to the show, she won't be taking part. Instead she'll be throwing her support behind her close friend, former EastEnders star Tamzin Outhwaite.
Holly shared a snap of her actress pal being announced on the show on her Instagram story and wrote: "Couldn't be more excited for this @glamzin." Tamzin's appearance on the show was confirmed yesterday, as show bosses revealed she'd be paired up with professional dancer Nikita Kuzmin.

All Saints star Nicole Appleton, also commented on announcement, as she posted: "Ahh brilliant." Strictly pro Dianne Buswell wrote: "Yesssssss", while Amanda Holden responded with clapping and love heart emojis.
The other celebrities competing in this year's special include Nitro from Gladiators, otherwise known as Harry Aikines-Aryeetey and model Vogue Williams. Tayce of RuPaul's Drag Race UK fame, comedian Josh Widdicombe and racing driver Billy Monger complete the line up.
Last year, EastEnders star Jamie Borthwick and Nancy Xu won the 2023 Strictly Come Dancing Christmas special. Jamie is currently competing in the main series with professional dance partner Michelle Tsiakkas.
The Strictly Come Dancing Christmas special will air on BBC One and BBC iPlayer on Christmas Day.
