I’m a Celebrity’s Declan Donnelly was left shocked after Holly Willoughby used her “mum voice” to shout at John Barrowman.

Barrowman was submerged in a water tank filled with creatures as part of his 'Scary Rose' Bushtucker Trial.

A teaser clip from tonight’s show sees a “stern” Willoughby offering some solid advice on catching those coveted stars.

As the Torchwood actor grabbed for his first, Willoughby yelled: “Well done! Star number one.

“Get that straight in your bag otherwise it won’t count.”

A shocked Donnelly turned to her and said: “Alright, that was stern.” Willoughby replied it was her “mum voice”.

The 37-year-old, who married Daniel Baldwin in 2007, is mum to nine-year-old Harry, seven-year-old Belle and Chester, four.

Barrowman was voted by the public to take on the latest Bushtucker Trial which comes a day after Anne Hegerty uttered the famous words to end her task early.

The Chase quizzer was covered in green slime, fish guts and mealworms before calling I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here after securing only two stars.

But she was comforted by her campmates on returning to Snake Rock, who were glad to see her back after Emily Atack’s trial triumph on Monday earned her a place on the red team in Croc Creek.

I’m A Celebrity is on ITV, tonight at 9pm
