Hollyoaks' 25th anniversary episode to feature every single character in the show
Hollyoaks spoilers follow.
Tonight's Hollyoaks 25th anniversary episode will celebrate the cast in a very special way.
The soap has announced that a special scene will feature the entire adult cast coming together to help Yasmine Maalik (Haiesha Mistry) pop the question to boyfriend Tom Cunningham (Ellis Hollins).
Tom has been having doubts over whether he is holding Yazz back, but she will aim to show him her commitment with a grand gesture in Wednesday's (October 21) first-look episode on E4.
In celebration of the soap's special birthday, Yazz will enlist Mercedes (Jennifer Metcalfe), Warren (Jamie Lomas), Martine (Kéllé Bryan), Cindy (Stephanie Waring), Felix (Richard Blackwood) and many more to read Yazz's romantic letter.
But will Yazz's salute to love and romance finally manage to convince Tom that she is serious about their relationship?
Hollyoaks went to tremendous efforts to film this special scene, having to shoot each cast member separately and then weave their comments together into a cohesive video.
Wednesday's anniversary will be full of surprises, as Jeremy Edwards will also be making his return as Kurt Benson 25 years after he originally appeared in the first-ever Hollyoaks premiere week.
The McQueen family are also being blackmailed with their Seven Deadly Sins by a mysterious dollmaker.
With Sylver (David Tag) already being implicated for Breda's murder, the blackmailer has now challenged the McQueens to guess their identity.
Will the McQueens correctly guess their tormentor… or face the consequences for a wrong answer?
Hollyoaks currently airs new episodes from Mondays to Thursdays at 6.30pm on Channel 4, with first look screenings at 7pm on E4. Classic episodes, titled Hollyoaks Favourites, air on Fridays at 7pm on E4.
