Hollyoaks spoilers follow.
Hollyoaks is set to air a huge twist involving Abe Fielding and Kitty Draper, as their past secrets collide.
Kitty, alongside Beau, is currently under huge pressure to keep her dad Declan’s death secret, with Zoe getting suspicious that someone could be buried in Hunter’s grave.
But Kitty’s identity theft is also close to being exposed this week, with the reopening of her missing persons case leading to inconsistencies in her story.

Later this week, Kitty will make the intriguing discovery that it was Abe who filed the missing persons report, and it won’t be long before this is explained properly.
In scenes that will air next week, Kitty finds unanswered messages from Abe on the real Kitty’s phone, so she responds and asks him to leave her alone.
Meanwhile, it’s Cleo’s birthday but following the events of the previous week, she isn’t in the mood to celebrate. Cleo tells Abe that she doesn’t want an open relationship, but his is manipulative and calls her insecure.

As John Paul tells Theresa that he doesn’t think Cleo is suited to an open relationship, Misbah offers Cleo support if she ever wants to talk.
While the McQueens throw Cleo a surprise party, Abe is distracted, having realised that Kitty’s last name is Draper. He catches her out and demands she reveals where the real Kitty is.
Kitty is forced to tell the truth, and she explains that she met the real Kitty at a women’s refuge, and that she died in a car accident as they tried to make a clean break.

Abe explains his own connection to Kitty and says he loved her, which leads Kitty to a shock realisation – he was the man she was running away from.
Shocked, Kitty rushes to tell Cleo she must leave Abe, warning her that he is dangerous, but Abe overhears.
Following the revelation, Cleo spends the night in a B&B, and the next day she questions Abe, but he accuses Kitty of lying, using her stolen identity as evidence.

As Kitty tells more of the McQueen clan that Abe is a danger to women, Cleo suggests to Abe that they go to the police, but he doesn’t want to.
Desperate for support, Kitty later asks Diane for help, explaining that someone is on to her, but she refuses – having learnt about her secret several weeks ago.
Kitty threatens Abe, saying if she believes he is abusing Cleo, she will take the text messages on the real Kitty’s phone to the police.
Who will Cleo believe, and what will Kitty do now?
