Sienna Blake has escaped the village with her twins following a hugely dramatic Hollyoaks episode.

Though Digital Spy has learned that Anna Passey has not left the Channel 4 soap for good, Thursday's E4 first-look episode did conclude with a temporary departure for her character Sienna.

Sienna had plotted to take back her twins from scheming ex Warren Fox (Jamie Lomas), after discovering that he had kidnapped her boyfriend Brody Hudson.

The latest episode saw Sienna actually convince Warren's own son Joel Dexter (Rory Douglas-Speed) to allow her to take the children from the hospital.

"I can't let him take my children. That's why you have to help me," she begged.

Joel made a snap decision to help Sienna, trapping his father in an empty hospital room and then chastising him for again misleading him about why he was back in the village.

"Everything you told me is lies. When am I going to wise up and realise you can't be a proper dad? I wanted to believe you, but you played me," Joel told him.

Liberty and Damon were having no luck over at the shipyard finding Brody, when Damon happened to kick a container in frustration — the very shipping container holding Brody, in fact!

After picking the lock, Damon was able to open the door, and soon the trio were having a big group hug to celebrate their reunion.

"You two sexy angels. I missed you two," he beamed.

In the end, they managed to get Brody on the phone with Sienna — and he encouraged her to take the children away before Warren could catch up with her.

"What about Liberty? What about the baby? They'll never know about how much I love them," Sienna asked, with a tearful Brody promising: "I'll tell them. Everyday."

Sienna then zoomed off just as Warren approached, leaving him screaming in anger as the episode closed.

As for her future, Anna has revealed: "Sienna has hoped desperately for so long to see her children again, so she cannot risk losing them now, she has no choice but to get away from Warren and the village to keep them safe, will she ever feel safe enough to come home…?”

Hollyoaks airs Mondays through Fridays at 6.30pm on Channel 4, with first-look episodes airing on E4 at 7pm.
