Hollyoaks airs unexpected passion for James after collapse
Hollyoaks spoilers follow for the latest episode on the Channel 4 streaming service, which airs on E4 tomorrow.
Hollyoaks' latest episode saw plenty of drama for James Nightingale, as he suffered a collapse and had a surprising hook-up.
James recently split up with Ste Hay after he was shown the video of Ste and Rex having sex just before his court sentencing. Though people tried to get them back together, James issued Ste divorce papers.
He's also been seen taking painkillers, but insisted they were just for back pain.

In tonight's (August 28) episode, Ste asked James to spend the day with him and said he'd sign the divorce papers at the end of it. Even though he bitterly noted Ste had "divorced every gay in the village" and he was taking painkillers to deal with "the after-effects of being married to a Northern chav", he agreed.
Ste turned up to The Dog in his wedding day outfit, hoping to win James over, but found him day drinking and unable to pick up his wine glass with one of his hands. James made Ste feel even worse by inviting everyone in the pub, including Jeremy and Marie, back to his for a 'divorce party'.
At James', everyone drunk through James' expensive booze collection and continued to belittle Ste before collapsing in front of everyone. Ste dragged James outside to give him some air, and they had an emotional chat.

He found James and Jeremy in a moment of passing, kissing and about to undress one another.
"Now will you get it into your thick head? I don't want you anymore," James sneered as he carried on romancing Jeremy, leaving a devastated Ste to walk out the door alone.
