Hollyoaks spoilers follow.

Hollyoaks' Sienna Blake and Summer Ranger are arch-enemies but things have taken some interesting twists along the way.

Summer's obsession with Sienna has been revealed to be a desire to have the latter all to herself in a romantic way, and Sienna has reciprocated with a kiss (one that won't be the last).

It's something that not even Sienna actress Anna Passey saw coming, as she told Inside Soap: "I know Sienna very well, so normally I have a sense of where a storyline is going. But this is one time I can't predict what's going to happen next!

"It's a fun storyline to be working on, as it could go one of so many ways, and I wouldn't like to guess which way it would go. I think the audience feel the same way.

"When Sienna kissed Summer, it was the last thing people were expecting. But that's what is exciting about it!"

It looks like Summer might actually get her away, as scenes that will air next week will see Sienna admit to her other nemesis Grace Black that she has developed feelings, and is encouraged to pursue it.

Hollyoaks airs weeknights at 6.30pm on Channel 4, with first look screenings at 7pm on E4.
