Hollyoaks' Bart McQueen looks very different these days

Soapland murder victim Jonny Clarke (aka Bart McQueen from Hollyoaks) has made a surprising change to his appearance.

Growing out his hair and some serious facial fuzz, the actor's new look was uploaded in an Instagram photo.

Pictured with Hollyoaks' Rory Douglas-Speed (who plays Joel Dexter), the two look to be attending some kind of festival with teepees and metal fences populating the background.

The caption reads: "It's only BART MCQUEEN!!!! great seeing you yesterday @jonnyclarke66! Love you man! X"

A host of soap fans were quick to comment on the image, many of whom really liked the star's fresh style.

"He looks much better with a bit more weight and that beard..." one user wrote, with others sharing: "He's a lot hairier! But he's looking good hehehe x", "Wow "Bart's" hair suits him so much better like that!", "As if!!!! Wouldn't have recognised him if I'd have fallen over him. Love the curls" and "Omg I hardly recognised him . He really suits the longer hair."

Jonny will no doubt be pleased with the online reception his new look has received, with the 26-year-old still very much in the hearts of Hollyoaks fans.
