Hollyoaks' Darren and Luke are pure friendship goals

Hollyoaks viewers seem to have forgotten all about the kiss Darren Osborne shared with Mandy Richardson in last night's first-look episode, as tonight they were full of praise for Darren and Luke Morgan's friendship.

With Mandy struggling to forgive Luke for ruining her wedding dress in a bid to put off their upcoming wedding, she found it hard to act like a loving couple in front of the social worker so they could get Ella back, and she rushed out of the house.

It wasn't long before Darren found her, and when Mandy shared that she thought Luke's ruining the dress was a sign he didn't want to get married, Darren jumped in to defend his friend, who viewers know is trying to delay the wedding while he gets a divorce from his wife Scarlett.

With Darren insisting that he was the one that destroyed the dress, and saying that Luke took the blame so Darren wouldn't fall out with Nancy, Mandy happily returned home thinking she'd wrongly accused Luke, and the pair ended the episode looking forward to their upcoming wedding.

And, considering it wasn't too long ago that Luke stepped in to take a beating for Darren, viewers declared the way Luke and Darren stick up for each other is absolute 'friendship goals':
