Yahoo News Hollyoaks' Kim learns Ryan's killer secret next week
Hollyoaks killer Ryan Knight could have his secret exposed next week when Kim Butterfield finally gets her phone back.
Tegan's life was left hanging in the balance after her boyfriend Ryan Knight tried to smother her to death earlier this month, just like he did to his wife Amy Barnes.
Ryan attacked Tegan after she found out that he was Amy's real killer and threatened to reveal everything. However, viewers know that Tegan phoned Kim prior to her showdown with Ryan – meaning the voicemail remains a ticking time bomb.
Sure enough, the incriminating message will be brought to the forefront of the story next week when Kim gets her phone fixed and listens to it at last.
With Tegan still in a coma, Leela becomes more determined than ever to get answers – convinced that there was more to that fateful night than meets the eye.
As Leela and Kim head to Ryan's flat, they stumble across Tegan's phone and realise that she left Kim a voicemail in the minutes before she was attacked.
Aware that this could contain the answers they need, Leela urges Kim to get her phone fixed as soon as possible, but makes the mistake of relaying the information to Ryan.
Panicked after Leela tells him about the voicemail, a horrified Ryan persuades Ste to get the phone from The Emporium.
Ste does as he's told but is caught out by Kim, meaning it's left down to Ryan to try and get the phone back before Kim discovers the truth.
However, by the time Ryan heads round to the Maaliks', Kim has already listened to the message and knows that he killed Amy. Will she expose Ryan's secret?
Hollyoaks airs weeknights at 6.30pm on Channel 4, with first look screenings at 7pm on E4.
