Yahoo News Hollyoaks' Tegan shares a huge new Amy murder clue
Hollyoaks schemers Ryan Knight and James Nightingale are left with another dilemma next week, as Tegan Lomax uncovers a shocking new clue in the 'Who Killed Amy?' case.
Tegan (Jessica Ellis) will be delighted when she finds evidence which could prove that her brother Ste Hay is innocent, but the big question afterwards is whether she's relying on the wrong people to actually do something about it.
Next week's episodes feature scenes which were first teased in Hollyoaks' summer trailer, as Tegan gets a shock when looking after Ste's kids Leah and Lucas for the day.
Claiming a rare moment in the spotlight, Lucas reveals that it wasn't just Ste who Amy argued with on the night she died – there was another man in the flat too once Ste had already left.
As it dawns on Tegan that Ste (Kieron Richardson) has spent months rotting away for a crime he didn't commit, she tells Ryan and James about the intriguing new clue.
However, what viewers know but Tegan doesn't realise is that Ryan and James have both spent the past few weeks desperate to keep Ste behind bars, so they're probably not the best people to confide in.
Could this be the moment that Ryan and James finally take pity on Ste and help him to build up his defence? (Seems unlikely!) Or will they cover it up like they did with DS Armstrong's stalker clues recently?
Hollyoaks airs weeknights at 6.30pm on Channel 4, with first look screenings at 7pm on E4.
