Hollyoaks spoilers follow.
Summer Ranger has set up Brody Hudson as a suspect in the supposed murder of Liberty Savage in Hollyoaks.
Last week's soap wedding of the summer ended in shock fashion with Summer refusing to marry Brody, after admitting she'd been having an affair with his ex Sienna.
Monday's first-look episode picked up directly where the cliffhanger left off, with Summer insisting Sienna had been "relentless" in pursuing her until she fell for her.
"I promise you, I never wanted it to end like this," Summer insisted, before running off.
Brody confronted Summer and Sienna outside the venue, where Summer backtracked to insist Sienna wasn't to blame for the affair after all.
"You have an affair with Warren, and now this? You have single-handedly destroyed my life," he told Sienna, then turned to Summer: "I'm done with both of you."
Sienna wasn't pleased with Summer either, accusing her of "humiliating" Brody at the altar, outing her before she was ready and then blaming her for the affair in front of everyone.
"Brody's a mess. He's probably just making all this stuff up just to hurt you," Summer lied.
Summer returned to the abandoned cell where she was keeping Liberty to reveal she'd come up with "a brand new doozy of a plan" to mess with Brody's head.
This plan involved enlisting Brody's childhood abuser Buster once again to call him and threaten that he'd be confronting Brody "in person" very soon.
In the shocking final scenes, a dazed Brody ran into Sienna while wandering around the town, admitting he was so rocked by Summer's confession he no longer knew where he was "meant to be".
A police car pulled up at that very moment, and DS Cohen insisted Brody was "meant to be" at Dee Valley Police station under caution over Liberty's disappearance!
Sienna insisted DS Cohen tell her about the new evidence, but was stunned when the detective admitted new evidence pointed to Liberty being dead.
With Brody in shock over being accused of killing Liberty, Summer watched from a few metres away with a big grin.
Hollyoaks currently airs new episodes from Mondays to Fridays at 6.30pm on Channel 4, with first look screenings at 7pm on E4.
