Brody Hudson and Liberty Savage have made a decision in Hollyoaks that may just change their lives forever.
It was revealed recently that they are keeping the news from Sienna Blake (Anna Passey) that her last remaining IVF embryo is no longer viable, making surrogacy impossible for Liberty (Jessamy Stoddart).
Liberty has since tried to convince Brody (Adam Woodward) that the best way to give the couple a baby is for them to sleep together once without telling Sienna.
"She is your sister," Brody protested, with Liberty countering: "Exactly! The baby will have her DNA. It's practically her own!"
In Monday's first-look episode (December 2), Sienna was out for the night celebrating her potential surrogacy with Lisa Loveday (Rachel Adedeji) and Martine Deveraux (Kéllé Bryan) at Champagne.
Brody was wracked by his guilty conscience over keeping the embryo secret from Sienna, admitting to Damon Kinsella (Jacob Roberts) that he had bad news he was concealing from his partner.
Damon surprised him by admitting that he wished he never found out the truth about the extent of his wife Maxine Minniver's (Nikki Sanderson) numerous lies.
Spurred on by Damon's revelation, Brody surprised Liberty by agreeing to her plan for them to sleep together. However, he insisted that they'd never speak of it again if Liberty didn't get pregnant.
"We won't be lying to Sienna. We'll be lying for her," he argued.
Monday's episode closed with Liberty and Brody heading off to The Love Boat to do the deed — but can Sienna's partner and her sister actually go through with it?
Hollyoaks airs Mondays through Fridays at 6.30pm on Channel 4, with first-look episodes airing on E4 at 7pm.
