Hollyoaks: Brody makes a wedding confession to Sienna

·3-min read

Hollyoaks spoilers follow.

Hollyoaks has wedding drama on overload, as Brody has confessed he's doubting marrying Summer over Sienna while Liberty has tried to escape captivity.

Liberty has been held captive for a month by Summer, but the final straw came this week when she learned Summer was planning to have Brody's childhood abuser Buster come to his wedding.

In Wednesday's first-look double bill (July 14), Liberty finally had her chance to escape after learning of the horror Summer was planning.

Summer had left behind her bag in the cell where she was keeping Liberty, so the captive dug through it to find a pair of tweezers!

Before she could pick the lock, Summer returned for her bag and to reveal her plan to "disappear into the sunset" with Sienna, Liberty and Faith after her wedding revenge.

"I've just got to destroy Brody first," Summer warned.

Things went from bad to worse when Summer opened the door to the freezer to show Liberty a red pepper quiche she'd left for her, but as Summer exited, the door slammed behind her — locking Liberty in the freezer!

Meanwhile, Summer was encouraging Brody to have his stag party because the following day at the wedding he'd get "everything he deserved".

Summer finally made it back, only to find Liberty collapsed unconscious in the freezer. Liberty begged Summer to take her to the hospital because she'd banged her head on the door.

"No," a panicked Summer insisted. "I'll fix this. I'll fix this."

Summer rushed out for medical supplies, only to be intercepted by a furious Sienna demanding to know why she was still going through with the wedding.

Summer insisted she was marrying for her father, and that if push came to shove, she'd choose her wedding to Brody over Sienna.

"You can have a part of me, or nothing at all," she insisted. "But if you push me, you'll be alone forever."

In reality, the exact opposite was true as Summer rushed back to the cell to tend to a barely-alive Liberty and maniacally bake her wedding cake.

"When you're baking a cake, everything's got to be just right," she ominously explained. "The equipment. The timings. Ingredients. I've got Buster all ready to walk me down the aisle.

"And I've got Brody's footage of him admitting he attacked my dad. How he attacked him in cold blood! And I'm gonna send that to the police. What started as the happiest day of his life will end with him, lying in a prison cell."

At the same time, a tearful Brody arrived at Sienna's flat to ask a shocking question: "Should I be marrying you, instead?"

Brody immediately apologised and tried to play it off as if he were just drunk, but Sienna was stunned by her ex's admission.
