Cher McQueen is set to step up her torment of stepmum Mercedes in Hollyoaks.

It briefly looked like the teen would reconcile with Mercy when her online hate campaign against her was rumbled by boyfriend Romeo, then Cher herself became the victim of social media trolling.

Everything gets worse next week when the family are in shock over their devastating news, followed by Cher receiving more online backlash.

Cher is horrified to receive abuse, and when Mercedes posts to try to get the trolls to stop, she just makes the problem worse. Mercy's intervention also makes Cher even angrier.

Cher's friends try to make her feel better over the ordeal, while Mercedes shares a secret with Goldie that she is feeling the signs of pregnancy.

Romeo is alarmed when Goldie shares the secret with him, since he recently had a one-night-stand with Mercy. Ultimately, Mercedes receives some disheartening news, but takes comfort with baby Gabriel's memory box.

Mercedes then tries to make amends with Cher, but the teen reacts vindictively by stealing the memory box, using the missing memento to manipulate and mislead Mercy.
