Hollyoaks spoilers follow.
Cher Winters is facing being exposed over her campaign of social media hate against step-mum Mercedes McQueen in Hollyoaks.
The teen has been intent on sabotaging her dad Sylver's marriage by slut-shaming Mercy on social media through using multiple fake accounts.
Her latest ploy involved getting her dad away from Mercedes for a camping trip following a major row with Mercedes, leading to a possible downfall in Wednesday's E4 episode (March 31).
Little did Cher know that she'd driven her boyfriend Romeo into Mercedes' arms for a night together, but Mercy was insistent that their fling was just "a distraction" the following morning.
Cher was also in trouble with dad Sylver on their camping trip when he found out she'd hidden his phone in her pocket, so he'd missed messages from Mercedes trying to patch things up.
"Look, however it got there, I swear to you on my life it weren't deliberate," Cher lied.
While Mercedes was initially intent on coming clean over her fling with Romeo, she changed her mind when Sylver sweetly got tech whizz Tom Cunningham on the case to track down her Twitter trolls.
Mercedes quietly warned Romeo he was "a dead man" if he ever told Sylver about their one-night-stand.
Meanwhile, Tom had made a breakthrough in his research about the "the people" harassing Mercy.
"Actually, it's not 'people'," Told told Mercedes, Sylver and Cher. "I've been digging and I've determined it's all the work of just one person using a load of pseudonyms.
"But don't you worry because with my resources, I'll be able to find out who it is."
Cher was left terrified that her campaign of hatred was about to be exposed in the night's cliffhanger. Will her devious plan come crashing down?
