Because John Paul remains a prime suspect following his release, he has to come clean with Matthew-Jesus about why he'd been locked up.

Some intriguing events unfold throughout the episode, as the killer fumbles a cover-up attempt and ultimately leads police directly to the book-end used in the deadly attack.

Viewers then will see a series of flashbacks to the night of George's death, including the final moments of his life.

The murderer stars to realise that the police are on their trail, so they decide to confess before it's too late. Yet there are hints someone may interfere…

When his on-screen exit aired, Callum Kerr revealed to Digital Spy that he's one of the few who knows the identity of George's killer.

"I know everything that goes down," he confirmed to us. "But I don't think they're going to reveal that on-screen for a while. I'd love to tell you, but I think that would just ruin the magic and the mystery of who kills George Kiss! You're going to have to keep watching!"

Hollyoaks airs these scenes on Wednesday, May 19 at 7pm on E4 and Thursday, May 20 at 6.30pm on Channel 4.
