Hollyoaks confirms John Paul & Craig are back together

There aren't many happy endings in Soapland, but it looks like Hollyoaks gave John Paul McQueen and Craig Dean one of those rare fairytales.

The couple, played by James Sutton (John Paul) and Guy Burnet (Craig), were heralded as a golden era of Channel 4's series and one of the best LGBT relationships to grace a UK soap.

There were already hints that the pair had reunited after leaving the village, but Hollyoaks went and made everyone's day with a shot from cupid's arrow tonight (November 22).

As the soap heads toward Frankie Osborne's funeral, the episode seemingly confirmed that JP and Craig got together.

Revealing that Frankie's son Craig couldn't make the funeral because he was in Singapore, eagle-eyed viewers soon put two and two together.
